	Replacement of misty, failed or broken glass units We replace misty, failed or broken glass units using all typesof glass and mirrors including special safety glass. Taylor Glass will supply and fit new double glazing for patio doors, French windows, and / or hardwood, PVCu or aluminium-framed windows. In many instances it should be possible to replace glass units without interrupting existing frames, however, if frames do need to be replaced, you may wish to consider the advantages of either PVCu or Aluminium frames.

	PVCu - Very low maintenance PVCu windows and doors are very low maintenance, incorporate extra security features including special locks, are tested to withstand gale force conditions, can significantly decrease the amount of noise 'transmitted' through your windows, offer much better insulation than conventional single glazed windows and are available in wood grain and coloured finishes. PVCu usually needs to be reinforced with steel or aluminium frames to guarantee its structural integrity.

	Aluminium repaired windows - virtually no maintenance Aluminium repaired windows require virtually no maintenance over its long lifetime, as strong sections are less likely to warp or twist and don’t tend to expand (as risk of PVCu) windows. However, aluminium is not as good an insulator although it may be more expensive than PVCu.
