Laminated
Safety Glass - safety and security
Laminated safety glass is the only glass combining both safety and security properties.
It is perfectly clear to look through. Should the glass be broken,
it will hold together and not collapse, reducing damage to both
property and people. This glass is manufactured in various thicknesses
for domestic and commercial use and often used by banks, shops,
and any location where safety and security are paramount. |

Toughened Glass - glass 5 times stronger
Toughened Glass is 5 times stronger than annealed glass. This is
float glass (normal glass) passed through a heat process, which
tempers the glass making it toughened, however this does not mean
unbreakable. Toughened glass will break under stress and disintegrate
in to small granule with dulled edges thus reducing the risk of
injury. All toughened glass is made to order in various thicknesses
in either clear or patterned glass allowing the freedom to create
varied designs. Toughened glass is the most widely specified safety
glass in conservatory construction. |

Fire Resistant Glass
Fire resistant glass is glazed to doors windows and screens will give
30-minute fire resistant protection. This integrity glass provides
specific resistance to the passage of smoke and fumes, though it
will permit the transmission of heat radiation from a fire. Fire
resistant glass is produced by changing the composition of toughened
glass. This done by laminating or making special modifications to
toughened glass |
