Toughened Glass - glass 5 times stronger Toughened Glass is 5 times stronger than annealed glass. This is float glass (normal glass) passed through a heat process, which tempers the glass making it toughened, however this does not mean unbreakable. Toughened glass will break under stress and disintegrate in to small granule with dulled edges thus reducing the risk of injury.
